DocTutorials provides case-based learning for doctors globally, through its platforms.
The following terms and conditions constitute an agreement between the user and DocTutorials:
- By accessing or purchasing programs offered by DTLC / DocTutorials Live / DocTutorials, you confirm your agreement to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to the entire website and any form of communication, such as email, between you and DTLC/DocTutorials.
- These Terms and Conditions of Use serve as a guide for user behavior, setting parameters and guidelines that benefit both you and us, the Company.
- DocTutorials Learning Centre/DocTutorials Edutech Private Limited, conducting business under the brand names ‘DocTutorials’, ‘DTLC’, and ‘DocTutorials Live,’ is a company incorporated under the laws of India. We specialize in providing technology, information, and educational services in healthcare.
- These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as ‘Terms’) apply to the services offered at https://dtlc.doctutorials.com (hereinafter referred to as the ‘DTLC Website’) and its equivalent mobile application (the ‘DocTutorials App’), available on both Google Play and the Apple Store. Together, the DocTutorials App and DTLC Website are referred to as the ‘Platform’. We encourage you to thoroughly review the Terms before using the Platform, as they govern your use of the Platform and any related products, websites, or services owned and managed by the Company.
- Throughout these Terms, ‘You’, ‘Your’, or ‘User’ refers to any individual or legal entity who browses the Platform or registers to use the services as a Subscribed User (as defined in Clause 2.1). ‘We’, ‘Us’, or ‘Our’ refers to DTLC/DocTutorials Edutech Private Limited.
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with updates posted on this link. We encourage you to regularly review the Terms to stay informed of any changes. While we aim to notify you promptly of any updates, we strongly recommend reading these Terms, including any new versions, before using the Platform or any services. Please note that the Terms are subject to change without prior notice, and it is your responsibility to stay informed.
- These Terms of Use form a legally binding agreement between Us and You. By using the Platform, You agree to abide by the Terms outlined here. These Terms apply equally if You are simply visiting the Website or exploring any of our service offerings. If You do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue your access and use of our Platform immediately.
- By using the DTLC Website and the DocTutorials/DocTutorials LIVE App, You agree to the following:
- To provide accurate, current, and complete information about Yourself.
- To maintain and promptly update Your login credentials to ensure they remain accurate and current.
- That We are not responsible or liable for any consequences arising from Your misuse of the DocTutorials LIVE App, the DTLC Website, or any of our services that may cause harm or injury to a third party.
- That we reserve the right to modify or update the Platform’s content to reflect the latest evidence and practices as needed. We may review, update, and replace the content and features of all Study Materials (including QBank, Test Series, Videos, and Notes) on an annual or periodic basis through new “Editions.” We do not guarantee that previous Edition content will be available in the new Edition.
- That We reserve the right to change faculty or engage new faculty at any time without prior notification to You.
- If You provide false, outdated, or incomplete information, or if We have reason to believe so, We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your account and deny You any future use of the Platform.
- This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act) and its associated rules. It is created by a computer system and does not require physical or digital signatures.
- By registering Your email address or phone number with Us, You consent to be contacted by Us via phone calls, SMS notifications, emails, or other means for subscription updates, service notifications, or promotional messages.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of Your account and login credentials once You become a ‘Subscribed User.’ If Your account is accessed or misused by a third party, whether with or without Your consent, for any reason (including unlawful purposes), DTLC reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including legal remedies. It is clarified that any negligence or deliberate act on Your part in sharing account credentials with a third party may result in penalties and/or legal action.
- Given the global nature of the Internet, You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws regarding Your use of the Platform. You also agree to follow all laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from India or the country where You reside.
- By registering and accepting these terms, You consent to receive transactional and promotional communications from Us, even if You are registered on the Do Not Disturb (DND) list. You may opt out of receiving promotional messages, but We will still send You transactional communications, such as service announcements, legal notices, and account updates, without providing an opt-out option for these communications.
- Our services are accessible via Android, iOS, and web platforms. However, please note that certain services may not be available on all platforms (e.g., video lectures for some courses may not be accessible on the web platform). Additionally, certain devices may not support our services, and DTLC/DocTutorials will not be held responsible for such limitations.
- The services you can access and the corresponding fees may vary based on the plans or courses you select, individually or in combination, as well as any applicable promotional offers or coupons. These offers may be communicated through the DocTutorials app, website, or by sales representatives who reach out to selected users.
- We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove services at our discretion. Any changes to the existing services, including pricing adjustments, will be determined solely by us. Additionally, we may revise course names, offerings, durations, and associated fees at any time.
- Technical improvements or updates to our services may also occur, potentially impacting usability, but they are aimed at enhancing the overall experience.
- By using our platform, you agree that DTLC/DocTutorials may use your details and photographs for marketing and branding purposes. Moreover, students who prepare for exams such as NEET with DTLC/DocTutorials are prohibited from providing interviews to any firm after results are released. Violating this agreement will result in a penalty of three times the tuition fee. Similarly, if you do not provide your details and photographs for marketing purposes, you will be subject to the same penalty.
- We may terminate, restrict, or suspend your access to part or all of the platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason—including but not limited to suspected breaches of these terms—without any liability to you.
- When you create a user account to access the Platform and its Services, you may be required to submit your phone number and/or email address and set a password, or alternatively, generate an OTP. These credentials will grant you access to the Platform. It is your responsibility to keep your password and other login details confidential. If your account is compromised, you can reset your password using the ‘Forgot Password’ option on the login page. In case you change your registered mobile number, please notify us promptly so we can update your account details.
- Our Website or the DTLC/DocTutorials App may integrate with third-party platforms, and we may use their services to enhance your experience. When interacting with these third-party platforms, you will be subject to their terms, privacy policies, and other applicable guidelines. By using our services, you authorize DTLC/DocTutorials to share your personal information with these third parties as needed to deliver the Services effectively.
- To enroll in DTLC/DocTutorials courses, students must present an ERP-generated receipt.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Downgrading any course is not allowed.
- Students must provide accurate information during the enrollment process. DTLC/DocTutorials is not responsible for batch allotment errors, or delayed/incorrect delivery of books or notes if false or incorrect information is provided.
- In case of enrollment cancellation, students must notify via email at help@doctutorials.com.
- All dues and installments must be paid on or before the due date. If payments are delayed beyond 7 days, DTLC/DocTutorials reserves the right to cancel the enrollment. Students will need to re-enroll as new students to continue the program.
- Penalties for payment failure are as follows:
- 1-day delay: Rs. 400/-
- 7-day delay: Rs. 1,500/-
- 10 days or more: Registration will be canceled.
- Unauthorized or commercial use of the registered number associated with the courses will result in strict action without notice.
- Sharing devices or course content with others is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of harassment toward company employees is unacceptable.
- The use of offensive or inappropriate language on any social media platform is not allowed.
- Taking screenshots of notes or content from the DocTutorials app for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
- Logging in on multiple devices is not permitted.
- Our academic experts have meticulously designed the curriculum to ensure optimal coverage of each subject within the given time and duration. Please note that DTLC/DocTutorials reserves the right to make changes to the faculty, class timings, or schedules without prior notice.
- For detailed terms and conditions, please refer to: https://dtlc.doctutorials.com/privacy-policy Students are required to have a smartphone with a stable internet connection (50-60 Mbps). DTLC/DocTutorials is not responsible for any missed classes due to internet connectivity issues.
- For terms and conditions, please refer to: https://www.doctutorials.com/privacy-policy Any misuse or unauthorized recording of videos will result in a penalty of up to Rs. 1 crore if found guilty.
- DocTutorials has developed its Q-Bank and tests based on MCI-approved textbooks to ensure high-quality preparation.
- Our dedicated team is committed to resolving students’ doubts. However, please note that while our references are based on textbooks, your notes may differ slightly from ours.
- Reading room access is available exclusively for DTLC subscribers until the course validity period. Access will be revoked post-validity. Students must use the allocated reading cabins, which are available 24/7. AC support is provided from 10 AM to 10 PM only; no AC or additional support is available after 10 PM.
- Students must ensure no damage is caused to the library, classroom, or any other property. In case of damage, students will be liable to pay applicable charges based on the damage caused.
- Each DTLC subscriber will receive one set of colored workbooks. Any additional sets will incur extra charges.
- No discounts or refunds will be provided after admission to any course. Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Students must use only the designated study cabins. The reading room is open 24/7, with air conditioning available from 10 AM to 10 PM. After 10 PM, support services will not be provided.
- Each student will receive a set of color-coded workbooks exclusively for DTLC subscribers. If additional workbooks are needed, extra charges will apply.
- Once admission is confirmed, no further discounts or fee-related concerns will be entertained.
- We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or clarify any aspect of the subscription, including changes to services, service availability, editions, pricing, and subscription validity. Such changes may be made without prior notification, and users will be subject to these updates.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of your subscription. Our obligation to provide technical support is limited to the specific support included in the subscription plan you have selected. You acknowledge and accept that we cannot be held responsible for delays or disruptions to your subscription resulting from factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Issues related to the operation of the internet and the World Wide Web, such as viruses;
- Firewall restrictions on your network or the device you use to access our services;
- Failures of telecommunications links and equipment; or
- Browser compatibility or update issues.
- You agree that we may collect, store, interpret, and analyze data for research or study purposes, with results published on an anonymized basis. Personal data will be anonymized before being shared publicly or with third parties. While we will not sell your data, we may use it to communicate promotional information or offers related to our courses or services beyond DTLC/DocTutorials.
- Please note that if you share personal information such as comments, messages, files, photos, or roll numbers in our Instagram, Telegram, Facebook groups, or other public forums, this information will be accessible to all users and will enter the public domain. Sharing such information is done at your own risk.
- You have the option to opt out of receiving non-essential (promotional or marketing) communications from us or our partners at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe from our emails and newsletters, use the unsubscribe option provided. To stop receiving promotional SMS, register your phone number with DND. - When you send us an email or other communication, we may retain those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our services.
- If you reside outside of India, your information will be transferred, processed, and stored in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws.
- Users agree to conduct themselves respectfully while using the platform. They must refrain from using foul language or making defamatory or derogatory remarks about DTLC/DocTutorials in any public or private forum. While DTLC/DocTutorials does not actively monitor interactions between users on social media or other platforms, it has clearly defined the terms and guidelines for appropriate behavior. Violating these guidelines may result in account suspension or other actions as deemed necessary by the platform.
- All materials on the website, including but not limited to names, logos, trademarks, images, text, graphics, videos, photographs, illustrations, artwork, software, and notes (both soft and hard copies), are protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights owned by DTLC/DocTutorials unless otherwise stated. Any use of the content or logos without prior permission and proper authorization is strictly prohibited.
- You acknowledge that all materials on the platform are available solely for personal use, learning, educational purposes, or exam preparation. You are not allowed to modify, add to, delete, or distort any material. Any attempt to alter materials, bypass security features, or misuse the platform will be considered a violation of the terms of use and will result in immediate account suspension or other actions we deem appropriate.
- Media/images used in videos not owned by DTLC/DocTutorials have been used with permission or provided by our faculty with proper attribution when required.
- Any feedback you provide becomes part of our intellectual property. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use it.
- The platform and services are intended for use within India. Users accessing the platform from outside India do so at their own discretion and are responsible for complying with local laws. Certain jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion of warranties or limitations of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, some of the limitations may not apply, though all other provisions of these terms remain fully enforceable.
- If any misuse or suspicious activity is detected, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently block or restrict user access, with or without prior notice. Legal action may also be taken as deemed appropriate. Disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be resolved by courts in Bangalore.
